Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 — October 20, 2026

Let us get the biggest bombshell out of the way first. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 premieres October 20, 2026, and Netflix did not just drop a trailer — they screened the entire first ten minutes of the season at Anime NYC.

The new season introduces Weak Kingsley, voiced by Clancy Brown (Detroit: Become Human, Avatar: The Last Airbender), a veteran Edgerunner spiraling into cyberpsychosis. The trailer opens with Kingsley taking an assignment from a concerned mother in a diner, then cuts to him facing off against a MaxTac hovercraft with nothing but a pistol. “Losing yourself… that is worse than death,” he says in a voiceover that already has fans speculating about another emotional gut-punch ending.

Joining him is D, a Snake Nation nomad, and Talia Yang, a netrunner, with the trailer hinting at a burning campsite from their shared past and a voiceover asking, “You are a weapon? A weapon made out of people?”

Studio Trigger is keeping the plot details locked down tight, but if the first season taught us anything, it is that Studio Trigger-style tragedy goes hand in hand with the Cyberpunk universe. The first season writer Bartosz Sztybor even admitted there were “even worse endings” planned for David and company — and now they have a completely new cast to put through the emotional blender.

The first seven minutes reportedly opened with a heist gone wrong, scored to The Cure’s “10:15 Saturday Night”. If that does not tell you everything about the vibe they are going for, nothing will.

Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 — January 2027

Mizu is back, and she is bringing her revenge tour to London.

Netflix confirmed Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 arrives in January 2027 with a brand-new teaser showing Mizu storming a castle in what looks like a very different setting from the Edo-period Japan of Season 1. The London backdrop is a massive shift, and if the teaser is any indication, Mizu is about to cross some very international names off her list.

But here is the part that truly sent fans into a frenzy: Netflix also officially announced Blue Eye Samurai Season 3, already locked in for 2028. That is right — the show is so good that Netflix greenlit two more seasons at once. If you have not started this series yet, now is the time.

Henry voices Bass, a gunslinging bounty hunter with a mechanical arm that doubles as a shotgun. It premieres November 3, 2026.

THE ONE PIECE (Wit Studio Reboot) — February 2027

The Wit Studio reboot of One Piece has been one of the most anticipated anime projects since it was announced, and Netflix just dropped the first key art at Anime NYC. The visual is a tribute to Eiichiro Oda’s original cover art, and it looks absolutely stunning.
