Meanwhile, Demon Slayer’s best performer was the Hashira Training Arc at just 4.1 million views. Not a single Demon Slayer season cracked Netflix’s top 10 anime list. Ouch.

But here’s where it gets even better: Juju Fest 2026 is happening on August 29-30, 2026, celebrating five years of the anime. The official website released a gorgeous new visual, and voice actors will be there playing their characters live. Expect a full Season 4 trailer and possibly a release date announcement during the event.

Why JJK Is Eating Demon Slayer’s Lunch
It’s worth asking: why is JJK so far ahead? Demon Slayer had the Infinity Castle movie dominating theaters, so Netflix numbers don’t tell the whole story — but in the streaming arena, JJK has undeniable momentum. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run was the only real competition with 8.3 million views, followed by Baki-Dou at 8 million. After that it was Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity (5.1M), Frieren Season 2 (4.9M), and Record of Ragnarok Season 3 (4.6M).
