Koichi dedicates himself to elevating Mizuki from obscurity into stardom as the new center of Melty Strawberry. The manga, originally launched in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge magazine in 2022, found its home on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app after Shonen Magazine Edge ceased publication in 2023. The sixth compiled tankōbon volume was released on July 9, 2026, proving the series has been steadily building momentum and a dedicated readership base.
Bandai Namco Filmworks officially announced on Monday the adaptation of Wakatsuki‘s Promise Me the Spotlight to television anime, with Yuika personally chosen to perform the opening theme.
